Steamhead, can't i just replace the circulating pump? I mean the boiler has worked great. If the pump is gone,would'ent it be more cost saving to me just to get a part replaced? Jodie

hydrotherm boiler pump thats crazy noisy

Hi Ross, I have a quick question for you. Today I came home from work and all of a sudden the pump of the boiler started making a crazy loud noise like it was going to shake the house off of the foundation. I turned off the breaker too it, is there anything that you suggest? I noticed that there is a hose connection on it,should I be adding water? Please help, Thanks, Jodie

Sounds like a 3-piece circ

that's losing its coupling. These days, I'd just switch to a properly-sized wet-rotor unit.

Stemhead, I don't know what you mean...will the boiler work tonight? I mean I am in Canada,still alittle cold up here. Do I have to add water somewhere? The boiler is oler than me!

Best thing to do
