Munchkin Boiler Question

We have a Original(before 925 controller) Munchkin boiler in the field with a sympton we have not experienced before.
A few weeks ago the fan went down and was replaced a few days ago. The new one was installed and now we can't get the boiler to ignite. It is sparking, but no ignition. Tech support from our vendor has suggested to richen up the mixture by adjusting the brass screw next to the air intake until it ignites. No ignition yet.
Anyone have this happen before? Any helpful suggestions are appreciated.

Rob

    Gas valve?

I am assuming that the gas valve on this older Munchkin is the Honeywell. The new blower is set up to work with the Dungs gas valve, it has a "swirl plate" on it that I think was different from the older gas valve. The Dungs valve is a much better valve anyway, perhaps updating the blower and the gas valve could solve the problem. Just an idea.

    Blower

The blower is designed for the Dungs and the Honeywell gas valves.

FYI, if when you make adjustments to the gas valves you'll need a combustion analyzer to make sure you numbers are right.

Call HTP tech. support when you are on site with the analyzer.

    Thanks for suggestions

We have a technician on the way to check things out. He will be checking out with the analyzer.

    Thanks,
    Rob
