wet steam

this seems nuts, but 2 of our 30 radiators are hot at both ends but cool in the middle when the 1 pipe steam system is on. we have 1 and 2 size main gorton vents and hoffmans on the radiators.
we suspect wet steam since some other radiator vents fill with water and the radiators dont get hot at all until we empty the vents.
has anyone ever had this ice cream sandwich radiator affect?

to begin .....
at the begining, sounds like air, but start at the boiler and check the pitch on the piping, pitch on the rads and also too high of steam pressure, I suggest a smart purchase of one or more of Dan's books. Good luck and best regards,0
