Honeywell 8124 ac , boiler control,frequent firing
I have a Honeywell 8124ac boiler high limit control on my WM oil fired boiler. I also have a Argo zone pump control syste,(6) zones. the boiler sometimes fires for short periods, then shuts-off at the approximate 180 185 high limit which it is set for. However, temperature only drops to 175 or so and refires. The low set point is 140 and the differencial is set at 20. But it never seems to allow the boiler to run water temperature down to 140 or the 20 split before firing again. If no zones are calling boiler will shut off and not restart unless indirect water heater calls. Any body and any ideas why this occurs?
Thanks Jim0
