in-floor radiant or Euro-style radiators

I need supplemental heat in my basement and I am considering in-floor radiant or Euro-style radiators. If I go with in-floor radiant, the concrete floor will have to be grooved because I don't want to raise the finished floor height. Has anyone done this? Is it feasible? The floor will be tiled after installation with area rugs used on the tile. The alternative is to groove a channel in the floor to wall radiators. Thoughts or advice?

grovve out but replace the floor. What would you do for insulation? I would opt for the panel rads....0 -
