    euro style rads

Looking for euro style flat panel rads. My contractor saw them in his hotel in Paris, now I have to put them in here. Must be CSA approved. Any thoughts?

    Many types

Buderus, Veha, Myson are in a similar league and rather nice and affordable. I would call those "stamped steel" types. Runtal at the high end, welded tubular steel, but worth it, I think. (Edit: See JohnNY's post- made in the USA no less.)

Now, I do have to ask, your contractor goes to Paris and in his hotel room notices the radiators???

Ask him what color the ceiling was- if he cannot answer that, then believe nothing else he tells you~

    :)

    General- Mechanical

I'd like to meet one that cared just a little about the mechanical. Usually it's" how do we cut the cost" and" do you really need access there. Can't we skip heat in this room." You are really getting in everyones way." I think the best thing is to make our heat either disappear as in Radiant or be decorative as in artful radiators. Then people notice.

    Dianorm

I bought mine from Dianorm, out of New Hampshire. www.heatlines.com

My wife is French and we go over several times a year. This time, during Christmas holiday, I dragged her around to several supply type houses. The prices over there for panel rads are much less than here, even after factoring in the exchange rate and shipping costs. Hmm. maybe someone should setup a manufacturing plant over here.
