What should I do for DHW?

Hello all. I have a Crown TWZ series oil fired boiler in my home with a tankless water heater in it, and cast iron baseray radiators. I've done some renovating/additions, so I have the system divided into 3 zones with Taco valves, and I just put in a boiler bypass which is working great as far as keeping the boiler return water temperatures from dropping too low. I'm a forced air HVAC technician, so I don't do much boiler stuff except for my own.
Last year I installed a heat pump in my home, so I could run it, instead of the boiler during milder days. Well, with the price of oil, and the fantastic job my heat pump has done, I have run the boiler maybe 2 weeks out of this entire heating season. However, it seems like a waste to have it run for a tankless heater only, when the boiler itself cannot maintain temperature very long like I believe a well insulated indirect storage tank would. I'm looking for ideas and options on DHW. Is an indirect tank my best solution? I've been reading about how efficient they are, but I would like to hear a professional opinion on what would work best for me.
Thanks

5 people in our home, 3 male, 2 female. Kids may move out soon? There are 2 bathrooms, but we use mostly one shower. Other than that, it's a dishwasher, and cooking.0 -
for the $ a...
50 gallon electric may work well. Or if gas is available a tanklesss unit placed near the bathroom...0 -
in-direct fired heater.............
would work great plus the boiler would be happy just being warm when needed year round. Boilers leak sometimes when off to long, plus scale on fire side can lower eff.0
