reasonable distance we can expect a branch on a 1x1 x 1/2 monoflo system to be effective?

It depends
on pressure drops and required flow rates. Take a look at The B&G Handbook from the Libary and scroll to the section on Monoflo tees.Retired and loving it.0 -
