  • anybody know Illinois.?

Finally got the right part ( hoffamn discharge valve) for the vaccum/conds pump unit... What a diffrenece its make for the entire system... Now the next step, are the Illinois radiator traps rebuliding kits are still available? Its the series G and hate to repalce them with out changing the pipings etc to make it fits etc. Thanks for all of your inputs...
  • You may find

that you have to replace the cap as well as the element on an Illinois outboard trap when using Barnes & Jones repair kits.

You could also try Tunstall, www.tunstall-inc.com . I don't think you have to replace the cap when using their kits on these traps.
