have u tried this but if u are losing ur prime u may have a loose brass nut or a bad flare most times after u bleed the air unless there is a loose fitting u should not need a check valve royboy

for a used oil storage tank
is there any commercially available and acceptable foot valves? 5/8 OD drop tube. trying to eliminate the drain back each time the burner (clean burn) shuts off.0 -
Oil Line
You have an air leak. Either at fittings,pump or tank. All a check valve will do is raise vac. and clog up after enough gunk gets stuck in it. Hope this helps ED0
