tankless coil /cleaning replacement

I have a 30+/- yr. old peerless steam boiler w/coil. The DHW flow rate is low and there is little hot water when not making steam. Whats the method and product used to clean the coils. Also thinking of connecting coil output to cold side of elec. hot water heater leaving aquastat functional. Is there a flow restrictor in this coil? The coil has 1/2" connections maybe that serves to restrict? Thanks, John

Don't waste time or ..................
money if it's that old. Replace the coil with a new one. Even better would be to replace the system,30 years its time.
PS the acid used isn't something to play around with, and even the water tank idea is best left to a pro, every see a water heater go through a roof from the basement!0
