Radiant Heat 1951

I'm looking at a custom built ranch on a slab with radiant heat.....The boiler and system (on the feed side) gauges read 25 & 20 respectively....That appears to be high....It was installed with 1 1/2 steel pipe.....The boiler is about 25 years old......It has Parquet floors with rugs over them....The heat appears to be working excellent...The house is located in Northern N.J....I believe they didn't scimp on any of the material....From what I understand I'm on borrowed time....However, I've also been told if it was set in sand it could almost last indefinetly....They had Central Air installed 20 years ago. So, there is duct work in the ceiling...Is there any feasable way of saving the radiant heat in the event of a leak....No way to "snake" PEX inside the 1 1/2 steel pipe?
