Short Cycling of Gas boiler
I have a Hydor-therm gas boiler (1969) with 24V Electro zone controller and 20V DC/.65A Valves. Once the burner reaches temperature, it short cycles like crazy. The local heating company (who just changed its managers) replaced the limit switch. This did not help. They came back and replaced the thermopyle. This did not help. The manager finally came out and realized I have an "On Demand" hook up when they thought it was a "constant Temp hook up." Now they want to replace the Zone Control and Valves. I want to get some opinion (glad to provide more information) before I have them do anything.0 -
Hydrotherm boiler
Can you get any info from the gas valve itself. I remember working on a number of Hydrotherm gas boilers which had millivolt gas controls.
