Had a couple contractors out to give me an estimate for installing a new boiler to my piping HWBB piped continous loop with a couple legs using monoT's. I fugured heat loss at just over 60,000. Both guys just looked around and one was 70,000 and the other at 73,000. One suggested a Trinity mod/con and the other a conventional boiler. I'm more acquainted with conventional boilers as it operate and maintain a steam boiler andmy church and have had training as a steam locomotive fireman/ engineer.
I quess my questions are about mod/cons (1) what are their longevity, (2) how realible are they (3) are they easy to maintain and repair. Any opinions on makes and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
