Evo boilers versus Munchkin Boilers

The new Evo is a re-branded boiler from Europe and brought to the US by a company in Michigan. The same company in MI used to sell EVO 99(i.e Munchkin 199) boilers several years ago until they started using their new "Evo" boilers.
I am pretty sure the new "EVO" is based on the Gianonni(sp?) heat exchanger.
Hope this helps a little.

Evo verses Munchkin etc!!
I'm working with a few new different heat sorces for customers and want the best choices!0 -
Are you going to use this boiler in a laundromat? I have 3 Munchkin VWH in laundromats and they have been installed for 2 years. I had one clogged condesate line and thats it as far as boiler problems. I would go with the munchkins, you have access to parts and the units are priced fair.
The Duo units are sold by Hamilton and they are a marketing company that rebrands boilers. Parts are expensive and I think only available from them.0 -
I wouldn't be scared of the Munchkin
Although they had a few "teething problems" when first out, I've had very few issues with current production. They seem to have the bugs out. The factory support has always been good for me and the unit provides a lot of bang for the buck.0
