Mike, pg. 17/18 shows condensate piping etc.
For the multi-zone radiant - a mixing block w/controls?

    Mixing valves, Controls, Radiant

A number 356 Controler along with "mixing valves and a variable speed injector pump was recommended on a previous thread for three 200 sq ft rooms. according to the company tech sheet the 356 controler seems to be for a "NON-condensing boiler". However the heat source is an A.O. Smith vertex "Condensing" hot water heater (90% efficient).
My question is what mechanical layout would I need to "mix" water at 160 degrees F to the 1/2" pex room, while mixing 110 to 120 degree F to the other two 5/8" pex rooms? All fed from the vertex heater. No potable domestic hot water involved. I do not know if you can even interface any "control" device to the vertex heater.

Unless I missed something the A.O. Smith has no drain for condensate. If there's no provision to drain the condensate it is NOT a condensing appliance regardless of any efficiency rating.

    356

The Tekmar 356 controller will work for a condensing or non condensing boiler. If you use one of these controls you would run your boiler at 160 degrees and you would mix down a lower temp circut to the 110 to 120 desired temp. Another option would be to use a Taco RMB. It would accomplish the mixing and could be setup to do outdoor reset on your lower temp loop increasing comfort and operating efficiency.
