draining radiators?

they are tilted towards the correct end. They heat evenly (except for one that gets really hot, and that's the one i hear the water bubbling and gurguggling in).
Thanks for responding to me.

water sound in radiators
I have a gas boiler, one pipe steam radiators. When the system turns on for the first time (in the morning) two of the radiators sound like water is running through them. The steam release valves click and clack and sometimes sound like water mixed with steam is coming out.
Someone suggested draining the radiators. I've never done this and am looking for any advice from the "experts" on this forum.
I also have loud water hammer that goes about 5-6 times a 1/2 hour after the system has warmed up. I've tilted the radiators towards the pipes to let the water drain, but that hasn't helped.
thank you for any help you can offer.

What pressure are you running your system at? 1/2-1 pound should be all you need. As for the rads, pitch them back towards the pipe end so water can drain out of them, no such thing as 'draining' them. Do they heat evenly?
