Fellow gurus, has anybody ever done or heard of anyone heating a riding arena with pex buried in the ground? I know they do turf conditioning but we are curious if anyone has ever tried to heat a large, 120 x 140 free span arena with a dirt floor. Any help would be great, Thanks

it would depend...
on the heatloss. What is the insulation in the walls like? is the arena to be all dirt? getting the tubing in a safe sturdy substrate would be key. IF they can do an airplane hanger I am pretty sure you could do a riding rink....0 -

wirsbo, watts, rehau
Have done dog parks, dog racing parks, hoarse racing parks, NFL fields....
does not seem like you are reinventing the wheel. Are they trying to actually heat completely or heat and turf condition?
I would contact your manufacture of choice and have their tech department get involved.
