If things go well, we may open for the Animals in May.

Don't worry Dan, I'll still remember the little people.

  • 'groovin'

in '67ish, 'the strays' beat out our band with that song at a battle of the bands at a rival high school. and they did sound better because they were rich kids with an actual pa system ((;-o

and hey, i guess dropping 'young' from the name is even more apropos now <;-)

I don't see them going for the "Old Rascals". I think Felix may be the only original guy in the band now. Still great music though.

How about Felix and the Liver Spots?

Thanks Rick. The biggest problem we have is that there is so much good music from that era it's hard to chose what to play. We probably add 4-5 songs each month. Kind of hard to keep up with. Our latest addition is Incense and Peppermints.

ps That's me on lead in Kicks and Live For Today.

    You could add

4-5 songs a day and still not run out of great songs. I just listened to "Evil Woman, (Don't Play Your Games With Me) by Crow, great vocals and blistering horns. My territory covers New York and New England, have to see you guys when I get back to work. Please keep us posted of upcoming gigs. I am glad that you guys tastefully keep the great music of the 60's alive and well. All right, it's time for Green Eyed Lady by Sugar Loaf...

    Peace Out

Are you implying that the Rascals don't look like this anymore?
