VAPOR VACUUM SYSTEM
Hello,
I have an original Vapor Vacuum System from The Illinois Company still heating my home. It isn't working like it should be, and the heating costs are very high.
Is there anyone who knows how to service this 2 pipe steam vapor vacuum system? Any plumper that I have had in here is telling me to rip it all out. A man who lived here 30 years ago said it was very inexpensive to run this system.
I live in Northern New Jersey. Any suggestions? Thank you!0 -
Obviously
you've run into guys that don't know Vapor. Too bad you don't live in Baltimore ;-)
Try the Find a Professional page of this site, under Resources at the top of the page. I know Palmer Heating, in Rahway, can handle Vapor and there are other good Vapor men up there as well.
Your problem may be something as simple as bad traps or air vents, which are pretty easy to fix.
