    Low Boiler Temperture

How can I raise the temperture of my Dunkirk boiler is running at about 170, althought the aqua static control is set to 220. Is the aqua static control bad?

Maybe the system has more capacity.....

than the boiler. Then the boiler temperature will never go higher unless the spaces start to get warmer. 170F is just fine for typical boilers.

    is

your house warm? if yes then why raise it? wasted energy.

Is the cycle time long enough to reach 220? if not and the burners are off at 170, test to see if it off due to aquastat "seeing" hot enough water, or is the thermostat satisfied? if the t-stat is happy then the house is (again) warm enough without going to 220.

Really there are a bunch of reasons I can think of why the unit is not reaching 220, and maybe get a pro in to look at it....way too much to list here beyond the basics I listed.
