Bamboo Flooring

I am involved with a radiant heat project where bamboo flooring is being spec'd for both slab and suspended application. The planking is 5" wide and is sending up red flags for warping.
Does anyone have any experience with this flooring?
One thing I do remember from my school days is that bamboo is not a "wood" product but is actually a member of the grass family. What are, if any risks with this product in radiant applications?

Uh Oh...
The only experience I have with bamboo flooring was in a froze and flooded fan coil project... the warping was spectacular! Whatever you do, don't let even a trace of water get on the flooring!0 -
Bamboo
I did one project where bamboo was used. The stuff is amazing.
It's actually a laminate so I don't see any issues as long as it is allowed to acclimate before it is nailed down.
The system we did has been in for a few years now with no issues what so ever.
Hope this helps.

!
FYI, there are two types of bamboo flooring, there is laminate and solid. Check before!
