Ultra modifications

I have bunches of unused ones.
I have one Ultra that has 9 ft of exposed, vertical vent and 5 ft of exposed, vertical intake. The big load is DHW, so it doesn't run much at night. NO problems.

Anyone ever run...
accross a install where they either could not or it would be a real pain to use the vent termination plate that weil gives you for the ultra? I have a job where snow line is an issue (they blow ALL the snow from the drive up against the house...3+ ft.) The vent suppliment makes no mention of alternative methods/options....may involve a call to W-M. ty,kpc0 -
ultra
The venting supplement which I believe is available online describes the different scenerios that can be used.
The first Ultra we installed ( 2004) did not come with the termination package. Just watch the seperations they call for & equivalent feet ( adjusted for elbows)

just did it your way
We just installed two Ultra 310's in the roof top boiler room which had a lot of AC equipment on the roof.
We just found some space where we could and kept the inlets four or five feet away from the exhausts.
We also extended the exhausts higher than the vents by 3 feet or so.
They work great.
Best boilers WM has made in a long time.
And it takes a lot for me to say that.
