mod/con boiler wiring

Eddie,

You asked about WM & Burnham yes? Both have DHW priority built in, and simple connections for you primary & DHW pumps, both come with the OAS. You will need additional relays to run your other zones 832 A or 8845U from Honeywell. We use the honeywell 3 way mixing valve to regulate the radiant temp
We just finished an install with 2 zones radiant, 6 zones HWBB, so it took the circulator supplied with the boiler, a matching circ forDHW, a circ for radiant & one for the BB, and 2 Switching relays.
I'll post some photos later

Chris

    mod con wiring

i know some mod/com boilers are prewired for dhw and outdoor reset, and primary pump. i have only installed ci boilers mostly burnham and wm. question is for multi zone systems are addional relay box required like say a taco sr50 which we use with our ci installs,or is the boiler already set up with some kind of relay.and in a mixed temp system with b.b. and ID DHWT and radiant will i need a digital mixing valve for the radiant being the water temp is varying depending on outside temp and ifso how is the taco i seris? thanks for your help just trying to get a grasp on new tech. its hard to teach an old dog new tricks. these mod/cons are new to us and will be installing our first shortly just want to square away all the bells and whistles. thanks again
