Humidifers?

I service alot of old houses with ci radiators, slim to no insulation, and are in need of humidification. In my own house I use an old Sears console type, that my wife and I refill. I keep it mostly because the gentle noise of the fan helps me to sleep at night..but I'll save white noise generator recommendations for another thread. I saw Rich T on ToH show what looked like a steam humidifier that would normally go in scorched air ductwork. But he was saying when he mounts this in a basement stairwell it would humidify the whole house. I'd like to offer something like this to my customers. Something that doesn't have to be filled daily and have filters replaced, you know, maintenance free.
So, what do my fellow radiant guys 'n gals use, recommend and/or sell?

Nortec...
... nice gear, pretty maintenance free. However, you do end up burning through a lot of watts to turn all that water into steam0 -
As posted earlier, nortec is nice along with drysteam, commonly used commercially
Aprilaire has a through the wall residential model 350/360?
Also skuttle may still have the stand alone residential steam model 60?0
