Lochinvar Knight Boiler

We distibute both the Knight and Munchkin boilers, and have sold many of the KBN500's to replace much larger boilers, using them in combination of 2 to 6 units on one job.
As listed above, watch the recommended primary circulator requirements which will most likely require an isolation relay, and setup the gas pressure and CO as recommended, and you will have some fine running boilers.

Good luck,

    Lochinvar Knoght Boiler

Any one have any expierience with Lochinvar's Knight boiler. I am looking at installing the 500 model.

We have installed over 30 of them with no problems. I have installed every size up to 399 no 500 yet. I would think the only major thing would be to check the gas preasures and do a combustion test. That boiler does not come with a circ either so makle sure you get the right sized circ for the boiler side of the piping on the primary loop.

Very nice boiler, have installed many. Have to watch wiring larger pumps through boiler, we use isolation relays to do this.

    Yes!

I've installed many commercially and have one humming along in my own basement as we speak (type). The smaller sizes come with the correct circulator. Nice boiler and controls, very few issues with operation, install, or maintenance.
