flow control gauge for radiant loop

recently did a radiant floor job with three 1/2 pex loops off a copper manifold, 2 loops are equal in size one is about 3/4 to 1/2 the size of the other two.have valves on the manifold and tried cracking it down to even out loop flow but cant seem to get it perfect, does anybody know of a gauge or meter that i can crimp into the pex lines,or one that can be sweat on to the maifold.any suggestions would be greatly appericated
    thanks eddie

    What

brand of tubing & manifolds are you using? Some companies have flowmeters that go right on the manifold.

yeah i know but it was a copper manifold with valves and pex adapter on it,not one of the ones you can screw the meter on

can this be balanced by measuring the temperature drop in the loops?-hopfully all would be the same-nbc

    lo-temp flow meter

Dwyer LFMA's are relatively inexpensive, but with ABS and polycarbonate construction, can't be used over 140F.

    Copper manifolds...

...using 1/4 turn ball valves cannot be balanced. Radiant manifolds with adjustable flowports can.

replace the manifold wit a flow meter type

Caleffi has a cute little 1/2" flow meter, it's new and may not be on the shelves yet. probably quicker and easier to change the manifold. at least one side. the ball valves, while not ideal, could be adjusted if you had meter to watch.
