    Honeywell AQ475A or Tekmar 260

I wanted to see if anyone would know which of the two would be best situited for this house. The house is currently using an oil boiler by Peerless, which is set-up on a hydro air system. The system has (2) 4 ton units running with 4 zones. Current use of oil on this home is about 2000 gals. a year, with sqaure footage of 6000. Currently it is using the Beckett Heat Manager, but it does not seam to show any improvement over the last year. Now we are looking at the Honeywell AQ475A or the Tekmar 260 boiler control. Which one do you think would preform better, and what kind of percentage savings would there be. Or if you have any other suggestions. Thanks

heatm manager already a fuel saving device

    Steve,
if you have a beckett heat manager already on the system you will not see a substantial difference in energy usage. Is the heat manager set up properly?? the function of the heat manager is to extend off cycle time during normal heating cycles and therfore adjusts the runtime of the boiler. I don't believe that addinig anything different will make a substantial difference.
