Four in my Mom's House.

If I put them in my Mom's House, you know they are good.

    Taco RMB-1 Experience

My contractor has come up with the Taco RMB-1 as the needed solution to the problems with the installation of my new Dunkirk boiler. See previous thread "Replaced Old Boiler With Dunkirk Wide Temp Swings Overshoots". It is an in-floor radiant system. It looks like it will do everything needed but I wanted to see what the opinions on the board are. Do I lose anything I need by operating it in the outdoor reset mode?

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the old thread.

    Installed lot of them

They work great. Just make sure your heating contractor follows the piping diagrams. I believe they are rated for around 80,000 to 100,000 BTU. I assume you do not need any more than that to properly heat your space?

I'm only heating 1400 square feet with one zone so should be good. John

    just have

a lot of patience getting all the wiring "dressed" (stuffed) into the back of the control. Major pinch point. The earlier models were a pain to actually mount on the wall- had to dissect the entire RMB. But, you got to know the thing intimately :)

    RMB-1 rating

The RMB-1 is actually rated for 120,000 BTU. Taco is tops. Quality products from a quality company.
