you could most likey get away with one just after filter/strainer at tank but thier's has a strainer too. Also check on line for parts, if you want to put one per spec's. One big factory rep. is in Greenfield MA and ships UPS P.S. I don't think a "tigerloop" can be used on waste oil.

    foot valve req'd?

    The original installer neglected to install the foot valve in the oil supply tank - which has lead to continual drain backs. Will a swing check installed vertically work? All my suppliers are at a loss when I inquire re a foot valve for an oil tank. Other options?

    doesnt the clean burn come with its own tank? or is it useing an unerground supply tank? if single pipe install a tigerloop

    above ground supply -

    but the supply pump is mid way to burner, needs to pull 8 feet up from tank and then push another 12 vertical to burner. It is single pipe. Just thinking that a foot valve would eliminate the problem.
