steam sounds like a good option,or you could run a hot water loop off the boiler if the steam option is not doable. i have also done radiant off steam boiler with heat exchange also another option,if the boiler has a coil you could use that instead of the heat exchange.many diffent ways to go make sure boiler is big enough,and which ever way you decide to go plan out the correct piping.good luck

Looking at job existing house approx. 26 x 26 1st and second floor-has existing steam boiler and radiators one pipe-they are adding a 1300 square foot addition-what would best way to heat the addition?0 -

how about adding baseboard zone thru a heat exchanger0 -
Heat it with steam!
Start with a heat-loss, size the radiators from that, size the runouts and mains by the radiator sizes, make sure all the pipes are insulated, vented and pitched properly. Then fire it up and watch how well it works.
