I used to see water injection on some commercial burners back in the early 80's. None had the water still connected. Too many problems.

    Hmmm

seems if my full sized GM pickup could get 90mpg, whoever came up with that technology could buy Exxon.

    Hmm.

Smokey Yunick did something with a device like this years ago. The engine was installed in a Fiero and it superheated the fuel and exposed it to some rare metals (the catalyst). Claimed power and economy improvements were substantial. The reason given as to why the system was not put into production? Well, the idea of heating fuel to temps above 450 degrees did not sit well with the guys who did all the crash engineering stuff.

Heard that from a retired GM legal guy.
Heard a heck of a lot of other cool stuff from him also.

    Pure scam

It would be funny if some people didn't obviously fall for it and get taken (probably their "dealers" get hit the worst). I always forward these to the FTC, EPA, etc. They can't shut them all down, but once in a while they come through and nail the b******s.

Man will walk on the moon

probably sounded just as crazy not too long ago.
I didn't even read the article yet, but I'm thankful for all the "impossible" things available to us because of the dreamers who didn't let the scoffers stop them. Kevin

    well I want

to thank you all for not ridiculing me for the post. I figured I'd present it to the experts... and I mean that sincerely.

If you watch the video they have on the site the first 2/3 or so of it is worth a watch just for a laugh, it is really lame, with some goofy characters.

I gotta say the last third or half of it almost sounds plausible.

Kevin O. Pulver I agree with you... I hope some dreamer comes up with something soon. But there is a difference between a dreamer and a snake oil salesman.

One other thing ... this website on this thread displays some stuff just as far fetched in the ads on the side... something about running your car on water.

    technology

Here's my question...the model t ford was developed in 1907. Which makes gas combustible engines over 100 years old. In today's age where computers are outdated in 6 months and big business are sending most work overseas to make the extra buck. Would it not be presumed that a small company that happened to get some miracle cash backing be the ones to initiate the long overdue advancement?
