a boiler that can use either fuel? Take a look at the Smith 8 series, which is available from the factory with oil or gas burners, and can be easily changed over in the field. This would let you burn whatever is cheapest per BTU.
Here are a couple we've installed using gas burners. The boiler is known as the G-8 when using gas.
