if you look at the lower segment of these posts you will find a section monitored by someone who will offer you clear and concise reasons for what i said and inform you that advise is somewhat convoluted depending on the time line one considers in reply to your question.
really if you have some problem that you did not catch until gas was turned on and charged into the piping at the appliance it is not something to take up as a hobby. better to turn it off and call someone who works on gas installations for a living.

Location of installations is critical with LP gas as unlike Nat gas it "sinks" meaning it lays in at the lowest levels when it leaks.

    Gas leak on boiler

    We have a Weil McLain GV3 boiler, burning on LP gas, that is leaking small amounts of gas. We get a reading where the combustion blower shaft enters the housing. Due to other issues, we have replaced the vent,(there was ultravent installed) and we have cleaned the heat exchanger. We also have cleaned the burner. The gas pressure is correct. Any suggestions on what we may have missed.
