Path followed by heat radiations from a radiator??

When a radiator emits heat via convection than there must be a path followed by those heat waves. Can anyone help me out and explain me the path followed and also if possible to model that path followed via any equation or something like that... ???

ppl say that it comes out and hot air goes up towards the ceiling and stuff.... but no one is able to explain properly by telling me actual path followed??

help will be highly appreciated ...
Thanks a lot

    pretty easy really

buy a cigarette from somebody, light it, watch the little smoke plume. or a boiling pot of water, watch the 'steam', convection heat from a radiator would look very similar if you could seee it.

as far as equations??? got me? I think if you could find equations for convective water currents, insert density of air and you probably be close.
