Are these vents kosher?
and was wondering. I have no idea what M/C boiler they attach to,,but I don`t think this is right.
They both extend-up from below grade, and in the "driveway" pics, the asphalt has been patched tight to the pipe. The other,,well you tell me.
I know that if I lowered my standards to do "crap" like this,,,I would likely get my bags packed and a courtesy ride to the railway station!
What say ya`ll??

Dave

Yikes!
The first couple showing the driveway job don't meet the "7' above walkway" deal and I can just see them getting snapped off by an errant driver... and what material is that?
The second job is a freeze up waiting to happen, how long is the run outdoors? And does it terminate at least a foot above anticipated snow depth?0 -
I agree (with sugar on top),
the driveway shot is ABS piping,,the other is 636.
I think he used the old coal chute as a chase.
As I said,,disgusting to say the least! But that`s the cheaper competition I`m up against here, having no inspections mandatory, the gloves are off!

The AHJ in my area would have laughed his butt off as he was filling out the red tag!0
