if anyone, (or maybe someone from the factory can e-mail me) about the "brown" refractory material. IUt seems to be of a better calibre then the white material.
I am wondering 2 things, if it is water proof? and if this is the material that HTP is refering too about having to wear an OSHA approved respirator when working on the boiler?
Thanx!

The blackish material is a new improved product. It is supposed to hold up much longer to condensate backup. The white material would dissolve after a few clogged trap condensate backups. Time will tell.0
