    Pretty off topic...

but if it wasn't for heating, I wouldn't be able to make the payments :)

This is my 6th vehicle, and I'm only 20!! My first new one though. I've still got three Scirocco's in various stages of disrepair.

    Just sharing my joy...

    All the bells and whistles

My son got a white one; you can operate the sound system with your thumbs, right on the steering wheel. He had trouble with the tire pressure indicators, but the dealer took care of it without any hassle. Be careful with that thing!

The engine is a 4.0L V6, good for 236HP and 266lb.ft. I opted for the 6 speed manual tranny, I do a bit of racing (legal, autocross) in the summers and I've had one automatic and didn't care for it much. The truck even has a 115v outlet in the box, not that I plan to be doing ANY work with this thing for a while. The truck had EIGHT km's on it, EIGHT!!! Nothing like getting in it and taking it for that first ride, new car smell and everything.

I wasn't aware my truck even HAD tire pressure indicators...I'm pretty good to check my own though. I was thinking of going white myself, black is such a b-word to keep clean, but nothing shines like a clean black car.

and I certainly am in the right climate for this industry. We've been lucky this month, only a few days of -30 or worse. It's crazy here, July can be 105F+ and the winters can be -40...Hard to complain about global warming up here although the guys in the Alaska have it worse.

    Glad to hear

you can get it with a stickshift. If they made work vans with stickshifts you can bet I'd buy one!

    2006

I have a 2006 Tacoma with 70k miles on it. At 30k I had a bad left front wheel bearing covered under warranty. Now at 70K I have a bad right wheel bearing. Also my rear axel on the right is leaking oil on to my drums. My outdoor temp gauge also doesnt work.
    I still like the truck.
