about a KBN399 that would trip out the manual reset during a call for DHW. It seems that it's fixed, and I just wanted to thank the Wallies and the great folks from Lochinvar for helping me out. I freely confess that I have usually left all computerized things to "default" unless I had Paul Rohrs on the phone.
Nevertheless, I bravely (desperately) grabbed the manual and started "playing" with the touchscreen. It wasn't bad at all! I reset the I3 DHW pump from :30 to :60 and the DHW Blr. SetPt. from 180 to 170.
That seemed to do it. Bled the HX for good measure, but as Dan says, I got no air- so I stopped bleeding.
I also found out what a serial port and a USB are on my laptop, and that RadioShack had the plug plug to adapt from USB to 9 pin serial port and I can make my Smart System software work. Plugging the phone cord from the boiler to the matching phone jack thing on my ccomputer won't work. I can't wait to plug in now and see all the great graphic analysis!
