it should be fine
just out of curiosity- is your boiler electronic ignition, or does it have a pilot light? the reason i ask is that a couple weeks ago someone posted on here that they tried to do exactly what you're doing, but the electronic ignition wouldn't work with the inverter.

backup heat plan
Living in remote area. I have a propane boiler and electric pump and zone valves. I hooked up an electric bypass to a DC to AC inverter run by a deep cycle battery. When power fails (about twice a month, few hours to day and a half) the battery/inverter runs the transformer, pump and zone valves. Is this OK or am I going to damage the system. It has worked so far. The batteries (1 main and 1 spare kept trickle charged) seem to have plenty of duration. I have one wood stove as well and may install a second. The house is a walk out with two upper levels to heat. Any Advice?0
