Our supplier, Commercial Heating in Bridgeport, CT, has a test panel. They screw the unit to the tester and use a set of switches to see if everything is working to spec.
Or do you mean the sensor?0 -
Regarding fireye and testing
What is happening with the control. Does it go into pre purge for appx 90 seconds and then energize the pilot solenoid and ignition transformer, if it gets this far and then goes off on flame failure, most likely you have a poor flame signal. Sometimes a bad UV eye or amplifier too. If it just stays in pre purge and never tries to go to pilot or ignition, then probably a bad purge card. Many other things to evaluate if not the above. post what is the sequence of operation currently. Is this a UV amplifier or rectification. What type of amplifier is on fireye control. Tim0
