Wouldn't it be fun
to do them in your own shop? Why not? And make a buck.

Plug'n Play
Yes that can be Boring if thats the way it's going to be. But Then again with the Rising cost of Doing Business it does some times make sense to buy prefabed systems. I've taken a good look at this and Other prefabed systems( to go with the TT Prestige) and find that they are not that bad . the only thing was that some of the components that they use, I do not use or support. so coming from a RD background and that into Production of the Product as well i Made my own TT prefab Manifold .It takes time to develop it so that it will interface with a variety of situation but i got it dialed in good now and all we have to do now is pull it off of the shelve, hang the boiler on the wall Hook up Venting/gas/cu feeds/some electrical Dial in the boiler, and we are on to the next one. It's great not to waste so much time in the field.Or if you want to see it another way is it's made in a controlled environment. Since we service systems too i do not think that there will ever be a dole moment. Lot's of bad systems not enough time. Richard from Heatmeister.0 -
Must have just crossed was trying to post this for a hr now!0 -
in your own shop
you bet! and that's where i started to think with it when i got their 'catalog'. buy the parts, pre-fab the complete system in a controlled environment where there's everything that's needed, take it to the site and do the install0 -
Must be carefull
Yea it was fun to design this prefab but i hope that they do not change the connection in near future because we have everything precut and sorted into bins,so that it's like a production line if the manufacturer changes the connection then all of that precut CU may need to go into the scrap bin! and I'll have to redesign everything.0
