Is a central deareator necessary?

I came across a hydronic heating system that has no central air purger or air scoop. It has several radiant heating zones. There are plenty of float type air vents installed at the hight points in the system. Would a central air purger be necessary in this case?

pressure changes in the individual zones ...
is a balancing act. whereas a spirovent or air scoop with an air relief anchors down a specific point in the system to make an easier go of it.
many a service tech consider air relief 's as "Guaranteed call backs", if you are replacing boiler pressure relief valves or the problem always seems like its the expansion tank along with the auto fill...0
