Apocalypse WOW!
Anybody watch the "After Humans" special on the history channel last night? Truly amazing stuff from the point of view of scientists & professors, and a commentary on the powers of nature. I thought the show was not far fetched and/or preachy about any point of view, political or otherwise. They simply said mankind disappeared overnight completely and utterly.
I won't spoil it by re-stating the details here, the History Channel repeats programs frequently, so you'll get another chance to see it.0 -
Yes!
You could see how the vegetation had regenerated after enough radiation to kill trees and everything else. The trees and vines "eating" the buildings reminded me of the scene in the "Lord of the Rings" where the Ents destroy Saruman's domain, but in slow motion. 25 years after disaster, nature, in both flora & fauna was back in a big way.0
