German big Brother?

Until our German big brothers stop smoking I do believe they have nothing significant to contribute, whether they live here or over there. Until our own leaders clean up their personal acts they have nothing to say either.

    German big Brother?

    Germany's Energy Law now require that you as a Landlord Bring you system up to "Blauer Engel" Standards.... IF the energy code is not meet than the Landlord must pay the difference in the additional energy consumption's. They are not only looking at the Heating System they are looking at the building as a well i.e.Windows/doors/Insulation. This is just another step ahead of the annual mandated Chimney Sweep Inspection with a combustion test and the again mandate of the fixing of any deficiency!(Most Germans like this,Better air since the 70ties)!. Does this make Germany a "Control State"(Big brother's watching you, /The taking away of you freedom ,or to waste as much energy as you want)?Or does it just show us that it's time to clean up the world and secure the future of this beautiful Planet.?

    Yes, But as per one of the German Magazine that I've read in the Summer of 07 some of this is already enforced.
