Worst part is I won't see my kids for a couple of days. 6 weeks seems like a long time to recover. But, if the quality of my life improves it will be worth it. Really wanted to attend the AHR Show. My company was putting me up at the Waldorf Astoria and I would have seen many old friends including Mark & Devan. Oh well, enjoy the show. Will be back in a week or two with an update. Thanks again...

I was just thinking today that your surgery was coming up, will certainly keep you in my thoughts.

I'll have to drop your copy of " Hollywood Knights " in the mail, I'm sure you could use a good laugh in your six weeks of recovery. I second thought, I'd better wait until your into your 3rd or 4th week, that might be to much laughter!!!

Rick is doing great. The surgery went well and already he says he feels better than before the operation. Mr Hart&Cooley should be back on his feet soon. Heal fast Rick!!!!

8 days out of surgery

I now feel up to responding. OUCH!!!!!!, YEOWWWWWWW!!!!

OK with that out of the way. Thanks to all for well wishes. Will be in a neck immobilizer until early March, sutures come out on Thursday. Will be hoarse for a while longer. Am bored out of my mind being home. Daytime TV rots so I will be utilizing the Tivo a bit more. Darin, Devan, Mad Dog & Mark thanks for the calls.

Darin and Ann thanks for coming by the hospital, morphine and friends are a great combination or at least that's what I heard. Thanks again and I wish everyone a surgery free year. I hear my meds calling...
