Solar Heating Panels

Thats a loaded question without more info but, its not as simple as it sounds since you dont want to heat water through the Takagi and end up sending it outside to be cooled.
Big question is; why would you add a storage tank to a Takagi defeating the purpose and design of the unit? Point is if you were looking to heat and store 119 gallons of water for high flow usage, other combinations of units direct or indirect would have accomplished this. A Takagi unit is a "on demand or instantaneous heater" meaning heats the water only as you use it and does it quite efficiently since there is no storage to maintain.

Solar Heating Panels
I recently installed a Takagi on demand water heater with a Weil-Mclain 119 Gallon storage tank in a 3000 sq' work shop. The home owner wants to add solar panels for the floor heat. I piped the Takagi to the boiler in and out of the holding tank and put a pump on the domestic side of the heater. This is working well with the temps being around zero. I left to 1 1/2 openings for the solar. Any input on what to expect from the Solar Company. I have not done any solar and want to know what to expect.
Thanks AL0
