Vitogas 100 pumps not running

I would have the system checked over to see if there is a loose connection or whatever. Preventative maintenance is great before the heating season to detect any potential problems and gives you that piece of mind that everything checked out. The vent damper itself may have not opened totally to make the end switch which, would give you your first scenario, but the second time when the boiler fired, the pump should have come on. It all depends on how the system is wired. Good luck.

VitoGas 100 pumps not running
This morning the house was cold. Checked boiler a Viessman Vitogas 100. The automatic flue was open and water temp was 75degrees but the pumps or circulators were not running neither the 2 zones or indirect water heater. Powered down boiler then powered up and the boiled fired but circulators did not come on. Powered down again for a few minutes and then powered up circulators came on and boilered fired. All seems ok now.
Should I be concerned or was it a fluke.
Thanks in advance for your help. You folks are great.
