I cant attach
a file it always says unaproved file name. its just a word doc?0 -
maybe it sees it as something your computer \"Thinks\"
it don't wanna do i have pictures that i cannot re post one is off a scientific web site ...maybe it has some command hidden within it that does not allow it to be posted other than from their web site..i really don't know
the picture in question is of a manifold.
A Quadri dimensional Manifold..i tried to post it a few times it just dont wanna
...:)
if you would like to "see" a Quadri dimensional Calabi-Yau manifold ....
could googgle search it ...
there are some real sharp depictions written in some special program called Walrus..it wont post either.0 -
My digital camera makes it's own pic # and sometimes this website says unapproved file name. All you need to do is right click on the file and re-name it 'radiator' or whatever it is...

Tried
renaming and that didnt work. Its just a microsoft word doc you would think that is simple. But I am far from computer savve. Its kinda like my flying skills. Im great at flight simulator but dont let me near a real plane.0 -
If you want, try emailing it to me and I'll see if I can get it to post in this thread.0 -
It has to be jpeg or pdf.
If you'd like to send it to me I can convert it to pdf and post it for you.Retired and loving it.0 -
Let's try
I'm getting the same thing. I'll keep trying.
Dan, it's in Rich text. I'll see if I can turn it into a jpeg.0 -
Did you send it to
mailroom@heatinghelp.com?Retired and loving it.0 -
Thats
Where my lack of knowledge with computers becomes plain. I have no idea how to convert a file to a j-peg or pdf. But I can find out. Thanks Dan.
On a side note: I have learned a great deal from your books with the books and the Wall. I live in northern California and out here Hydronic heat is mostley Commercial. Thats how I got into it. Very few peaple that I worked with new Residential hydronic at all. Now in this area I feel I am one of few who have a clue what I am doing with residental hydronic. Thanks to you and the guys on the wall sharing hard earned knowledge. Thanks Have a great day.0 -
Thanks for the kind words.
If you send me the WORD file I'll convert it and post it for you.Retired and loving it.0 -

if it's a word doc,
you can simple highlight the actual words, just like highlighting the 'text shown below', copy/paste it to this message area. or if it won't work that way, copy/paste it to note pad and then copy/paste it here0 -
I am from the East Bay area and never saw a radiator or warm floor except out in SF in the million + homes...

LOL, old tactic!
Those flyers used to show up all the time when I did residential scorched air sales in Minneapolis... If I could get in the door I beat them every time!
Repeat after me: "there is no such thing as a free lunch"!0
