Main Air Vents

Would like to add more air vents to low pressure steam main pipe supply lines. Been using Vent-Rite #35 with good success. Unable to find out the air removal ratings in cubic feet per minute(CFM)on the #35 air vents. In touch with Swan & they not have capacities. Attempted contacting Vent-Rite in Benton Harbor,MI & got dead phone numbers. There must be someone out there that has tables, charts, capacities of these vents, ... any suggestions ? or just email or post the #35 removal rating for calculations.

1.4 cfm is used in many of the steam instruction books as a "common" or "typical" rating. Would really like the the correct rating for the Vent-Rite #35. Also any suggestions for an equal or better air vents for 2" & 3-1/2" steam mains?

    Vent-Rite #35

I would recommend that you download from this site:
Balancing Steam Systems Using a Venting Capacity Chart.pdf. The values for a Vent-Rite #35 are low compared to a Gorton #1.
Here's some values for 1oz., 2oz., and 3oz. steam supply pressures:

    Vent-Rite #35 0.110 0.200 0.250

There was an error rendering this rich post.
